Miss Power is a one-shot antagonist in the WordGirl TV series, serving as the titular main antagonist of the WordGirl episodes "The Rise of Miss Power" Part 1 & 2, Part 3 & 4.
She and WordGirl share most of the same powers, although Miss Power is more adept at these things. However, Miss Power uses mean words to knock villains down rather than fight them without getting harsh, setting her and WordGirl apart. In the movie, she came to Earth with her sidekick, Colonel Giggle Cheeks. She told WordGirl that she was going to teach her how to be a better superhero. WordGirl idolized Miss Power in the beginning, despite her usage of mean words.
Captain Huggy Face, however, remained suspicious of her for most of the episode. Miss Power influenced WordGirl to use mean words as well, and she did. It wasn't until Miss. Power drove Dr. Two-Brains to tears that WordGirl realized that the name-calling got too far. WordGirl stood up to Miss Power, telling her that she needed to stop. This outraged Miss Power, and she revealed to WordGirl that she had been using her for her power. She revealed to WordGirl not only the fact that her original ploy was for them to rule the world together, but also what was underneath her bangs: green skin and a yellow, snake-like eye. Miss Power then flew back to Earth and began to put anyone who defied her in jail. Even when all of the city's villains stood up to her, they were all defeated.
During the battle, every villain used ideas to defeat her and her sidekick.
- Ms. Question and Granny May - Tried to charge at her, but hit each other when Miss Power flew too quickly out of the way.
- Big Left Hand Guy, The Whammer, Nocan the Contrarian, General Smoochington and Victoria Best - Tried to stretch Giggle Cheeks, but Miss Power took him away.
- Birthday Girl, Energy Monster, Kid Potato - Tried attacking her with potatoes and electrocution, but Miss Power used water to defeat the Energy Monster, Birthday Girl was tied, and left Kid Potato stand on a building.
- Hal Hardbargain - Arm-wrestled with Giggle Cheeks but lost the fight.
- Mr. Big and Leslie - Used their machine (most likely to mind control), but Miss Power destroyed the machine with her laser eyes.
- Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy - Squirted ketchup on her from his condiment ray, but she came out and tied him with a street pole.
- Tobey and Sally - Used Tobey's robot to stomp on her and Chuck, but Miss Power easily threw the robot back, making both of them to fall and be caught by Two-Brains' henchmen.
- Lady Redundant Woman - Used copies to grab at her, but disappeared into paper when Miss Power freed herself.
- The Butcher - Attacked her with Hamburger Hurricane, but Miss Power used her hands to create a hurricane of her own, leaving him trapped on top of the pole.
- Dr. Two Brains - Used the goop ray to zap her, but was destroyed by Miss Power.
However, WordGirl managed to stop her by not letting her bullying power affect her. Miss Power fled from Earth, stating that as long as she quit, she didn't lose. WordGirl ignored the harsh words Miss Power said her when she called WordGirl weak and little, WordGirl used the tactic of saying the opposite of the insult, saying she would grow and get stronger which made Miss Power quit the battle and leave the planet in shame.
Appearance[]
Miss Power is a tall, slim, tan-skinned humanoid alien, with a monolid-eye and blue lips. Her most distinctive feature is her shoulder-length blonde hair with a single white streak on the left side, with her bangs covering her alien origins; green scaly-like skin and an eye with a yellow sclera and a slit pupil, thus resembling that of a snake.
For attire, Miss Power dons a blue-white color scheme; a set of blue visor goggles and a blue cape covering her neck, which is attached to her white supersuit with a blue star badge on the left side. She also dons a belt, gloves and heeled boots, all blue in color.

Trivia[]
- Being a guest star, her voice actor provided the voice of Patty Ratburn in another PBS Kids show, Arthur.
- She's the first villain to almost defeat WordGirl and take over Fair City.
- She's also the first villain to actually try to seriously hurt somebody, as she was about to kill Dr. Two Brains with her laser eyes.
- Despite thinking that quitting would keep her from losing, in reality, quitting is something that makes an opponent lose completely. It is unknown whether or not she would one day realize that and come back for revenge.
- She's the most evil villain in the series, she may also be the most intelligent.
