Tommy is a contestant on the game show May I Have a Word?. He tends to act superior to everyone else on the game show and is often annoyed by Emily's antics, e.g. fawning over Captain Huggyface. He apparently has a crush on WordGirl. He also has an extensive snood collection and makes WordGirl fan comics (putting himself in Captain Huggyface's place) in his spare time. In "Cower", it is revealed that Tommy is not afraid of anything except for clowns.  He also seems to incorrectly define the word more than the other contestants.
