City Hall is the building where most of the city's events take place, such as WordGirl's Key to the City ceremonies, bake sales, major parties, etc.
City Hall is also known to be a particularly favorite spot to destroy by the villains. In the episode "You Can't Crush City Hall" the villainous Chuck The Evil Sandwich Making Guy was attempting to demolish it for no apparent reason.
It was revealed in the episode "Super-Grounded" that they keep the city's money in the bank, contrary to The Butcher's belief.
